(the image you see here is maybe 30% the size of the original work>< ) the two boys were colored in psp, and for the background I hoped back and forth between the two. the boys had over 17 layers and were a huuuuuuge pic to begin with, it was so big that my computer didn't have enough memory to save!! so I had to merge them and work from there much sooner than i wanted too.
The redhead drove me nuts, my poor feeble mind had trouble comprehending how to color an upsidedown face. also the design on his shirt was sooo evil to color >< there were no actual openings or ends it was all just little scribbles >.< I am sooooo evil to myself ~.~
I tried to do a lighting thru leaves effect..I think it just made the pic look a little dirty. I used a photo shop lens flair and got those cool little green dots. I'm begining to think that there is just no way I'm supposed to make backgrounds...trees look a little pixely... >.< dont care!! it's done it's over leave it be!!
over all I think it's beautiful..minus the attempt at light thru leaves and the background...

this image was inspired by Su lending me so much Gravitation and Eerie Queerie, I had to draw some shounen ai of my own. I decided when I finished the drawing that the story would be similar to that of sleeping beauty I guess thinking about it it's a little more like snow white. But the human prince, Fraxinelle, runs into the enchanted/forbidden (whatever) forest to escape being killed, be it by a step parents henchment or enemies who took over the castle.
The forest rejects all but the elves and quickly captures Fraxinelle, putting him into a dormant state for many many years, before the elvan prince, Serydith disscovers him.
I image Serydith walks into this clearing, where the light shows down on this incredibly beautiful person, and he's just drawn to Franxinelle, as if pulled by a spell.
a little cheesy but it works for me ^_~
